The company has been committed to the R&D, production, sales of chlorine dioxide disinfection powder/tablet/liquid and its supporting equipment, with annual output of 10,000 tons chlorine dioxide per year.

In 1983, the predecessor of Shandong Huashi Pharmaceutical Company Limited, Linqu Hualong Science and Technology Co. was founded.
In 1998, Linqu Hualong Technology Co., Ltd. changed its name to Weifang Huashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and in the same year, it was honored as “Advanced Private Enterprise” by the People's Government of Linqu County.
In 1999, it was honored as “Advanced Export Enterprise” by the People's Government of Linqu County.
In 2002, we produced chlorine dioxide disinfectant.
In 2003, the chlorine dioxide disinfectant produced by our company was widely reported in “People's Daily”, “Market Newspaper” and “China Quality Miles” during the SARS period.
In 2003, we were honored as “Excellent Private Science and Technology Enterprise of Shandong Province” by Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province and Private Science and Technology Promotion Association of Shandong Province. We were awarded "Weifang Private Technology Enterprise", "Linqu County Private Technology Promotion Association" and "Excellent Private Technology Enterprise" by Weifang Science and Technology Bureau for many times.
In 2008, when Wenchuan earthquake happened the company donated 200,000 yuan of the latest generation of chlorine dioxide disinfectant to the disaster area, contributing to the control of the epidemic in the disaster area and was awarded a trophy by the Red Cross Society of China.
In 2014, Weifang Huashi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was officially renamed as Shandong Huashi Pharmaceutical Co.
In 2018, the company was invited by the National Chlorine Dioxide Industry Association to participate in the revision and formulation of the latest national hygiene standards of the national chlorine dioxide industry.
In 2018, Shandong Huashi Pharmaceutical passed the national environmental management system, occupational health and safety management system, and quality management system certification and obtained the certification certificate.
